Monitor Glow

Privacy Policy

Monitor Glow by Frogbolt Studio · Updated November 4, 2026 · Applies to version 1.2.0 and later

In short: Monitor Glow runs entirely on your own computer. It does not collect, store or send any personal data to Frogbolt Studio, and only shares your activity with Discord if you turn that option on yourself. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

Who we are

Monitor Glow is published by Frogbolt Studio (formerly Frogbolt Studio), an independent developer based in Belgium. Website: frogboltstudio.com. Contact: rune.claes123@proton.me.

What data Monitor Glow collects

None. Monitor Glow has no telemetry, analytics, crash reporting, user accounts or advertising. The app does not make any network requests to Frogbolt Studio or to third parties.

Features that use information on your computer

Some optional features read information locally, on your own device, to create lighting effects. This information is processed in memory, is never saved, and never leaves your computer.

Settings stored on your computer

Your preferences and the scenes you save are stored locally in %AppData%\MonitorGlow\settings.json. This file stays on your computer and is removed when you uninstall Monitor Glow. Scene share codes are only created when you click Share, and only go wherever you choose to paste them.

App stores and download sites

If you get Monitor Glow from the Microsoft Store or GitHub, those services may process information (such as your account or download) under their own privacy policies. Frogbolt Studio does not receive personal data from them beyond what those services share with all developers, such as anonymous download and crash statistics.

Children

Monitor Glow does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because Monitor Glow does not collect personal data, Frogbolt Studio holds no personal data about you. If you have questions about privacy or your rights under the GDPR, contact us at the email address above.

Changes to this policy

If a future version changes how data is handled, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
